Joe Huber Family Farm & Restaurant
Joe Huber's famous "Country Platter Dinner" served family style.
Experience delicious home-style cooking including country fried chicken, Huber honey ham, fried biscuits with apple butter and all the fixin's just like Grandma made.
Enjoy a tour of Huber's wine cellar and learn more about the process of making wine while tasting some of our favorite selections.
10 a.m. - Arrive at the Forest Discovery Center. A thorough tour of the facility normally requires 1 ½ hours. This includes a stroll through the "indoor forest", admission to the 12 minute video "Keepers of the Forest", a skyway tour of Koetter Woodworking's state of the art manufacturing plant, and plenty of time to explore the activity centers and talk to the resident woodworking artisan.
11:30 a.m. - Drive a short three minutes to Joe Huber's Family Farm and Restaurant. There enjoy a fresh, home style lunch such as the Country Platter Dinner made from scratch, served family style, including fried chicken, ham, fried biscuits with apple butter, mashed potatoes with milk gravy, and fresh vegetables. Enjoy one of the seasonal cobblers for dessert or take a stroll over to the 1950's style soda pop shop and enjoy a treat there. Take a few minutes to check out the fresh produce in the farm market or feed the ducks at the pond. You should plan to enjoy this stop for approximately 1 to 1 ½ hours.
1 p.m. - Huber Winery is a short ride away. The folks there will make available for tour the cellar with a guide that can discuss the variety of wines you will be sampling. This tour will take approximately 1 hour. After the tour, you are welcome to enjoy the cafe' area or explore the upstairs tasting bar, farm market, or ice cream and cheese shop. Bottles of wine are available for purchase to either take home or to enjoy on the patio.
All of the times in this itinerary are estimates. You are more than welcome to stay as long as you like and enjoy some of the other attractions located at our three sites.

Passport Guidelines
1. Passport requires advance purchase.
2. Passport will be processed and mailed to the customer within 3 business days.
3. Passport is valid through 12/31/2008.
4. There is not a Passport available for children. Children 6 and under will receive free admission to the Forest Discovery Center and will eat free with parents who are using the "Adult Passport" to dine at Joe Huber's Family Farm & Restaurant.
5. Passport holders under the age of 21 will be served "sparkling juices" in lieu of wine if taking part in wine tasting and cellar tour portion of the Passport program.
6. Passport will be stamped at each location upon start of visit and all locations need not be visited during the same day.
